Phlebotomy Technician
Phlebotomy technicians are critical team members in hospitals, doctors’ offices, diagnostic labs and blood donor centers. As new types of tests are developed and laboratory tech positions grow, it's an especially exciting time to begin a career in this promising field. A certified phlebotomist is able to use the right techniques to draw blood samples from patients and donors, transfer blood samples, perform basic tests, and maintain medical equipment such as needles and blood sample tubes.
